Preview Test Objects

A Preview Test Object is the data set, Preview Test Objects are selected data sets that are used as examples during the ruleset creation and translation process. This makes the work of writing or translating much easier, because you can verify whether a sentence is correct or not by means of a real example, instead of a formula or a placeholder.

These Preview Test Objects are selected or created in AX Cockpit and can then be used in the Translate App. One or more preset Preview Test Objects are included in the Translation Packages for this purpose. If there is more than one you can select one for translation and then check your translation by switching to a different Preview Test Object.

It is advisable to check the translation with all available Preview Test Objects, as some special characteristics or errors only become visible with different data sets.
